一、說(shuō)教材
1、 教材的地位和作用
本課是第八單元的第一課,主要圍繞如何給建議和意見(jiàn)展開(kāi)討論,懂得談?wù)摵捅容^不同的東西和事物,1a的卡通畫(huà)先由學(xué)生討論物品的品質(zhì)開(kāi)始,然后分類(lèi),1b.1c是以1a的卡通畫(huà)展開(kāi)的聽(tīng)和說(shuō)的訓(xùn)練。
2:教學(xué)目的: 教學(xué)大綱指出要從英語(yǔ)的學(xué)科的特點(diǎn)出發(fā),激發(fā)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的興趣,幫助學(xué)生樹(shù)立學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的信心,克服學(xué)習(xí)中產(chǎn)生的畏懼心理和困難,建立語(yǔ)感,掌握語(yǔ)言基本知識(shí)和技能。
(1).知識(shí)目標(biāo):
a. 掌握本課的單詞與詞組。
b. 掌握情態(tài)動(dòng)詞should+動(dòng)詞原形表達(dá)征求意見(jiàn)的用法:what should I get? (2)能力目標(biāo)
a.學(xué)會(huì)談?wù)摵捅容^不同的東西和事物。
c. 學(xué)會(huì)如何給別人提出建議和意見(jiàn)。 3.重難點(diǎn)
(1).本單元的主題對(duì)話(huà)是“What should I get ?How about a CD?No,that’s too expensive.”因此,情態(tài)動(dòng)詞should+動(dòng)詞原形,why don’t you…?/How about…/what about…./why not….?等句型結(jié)構(gòu)的知識(shí)理解和應(yīng)用,是本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)。
(2)學(xué)生在使用why don’t you …?/How about…?/what about…?等句型結(jié)構(gòu)時(shí),對(duì)否定性特殊疑問(wèn)句的理解,How/what anout+名詞/動(dòng)名詞的應(yīng)用,是學(xué)習(xí)中的難點(diǎn)。
二.說(shuō)教法
1.圖片教學(xué)法
通過(guò)卡片,圖片復(fù)習(xí)單詞和認(rèn)知實(shí)物。
2.情境教學(xué)法
通過(guò)生日導(dǎo)入新課,學(xué)會(huì)贈(zèng)送禮物的句型。
3.聽(tīng)說(shuō)教學(xué)法
通過(guò)聽(tīng)錄音,模仿對(duì)話(huà)來(lái)鞏固句型。加強(qiáng)聽(tīng)說(shuō)訓(xùn)練。
通過(guò)Groupwork來(lái)加深給別人提建議或意見(jiàn)的表達(dá)能力。
4.任務(wù)教學(xué)法
通過(guò)Survey.Report 強(qiáng)化所學(xué)的知識(shí)。 三.說(shuō)學(xué)法 遵循“教為主導(dǎo),學(xué)為主體,練為主線(xiàn)”的教育思想,但教師又要因人而導(dǎo),對(duì)不同能力水平的學(xué)生給予不同的要求,從而達(dá)到英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的目標(biāo)。 四.情感,態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀(guān):
a.通過(guò)所學(xué)的句型和語(yǔ)法規(guī)則,熟練征詢(xún)建議和提出合理化建議。
b.準(zhǔn)確地發(fā)表自己對(duì)某物,某事的建議的評(píng)估。
c.了解常見(jiàn)的節(jié)日禮物并能正確地評(píng)論,了解外國(guó)人送禮物的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣。
d.通過(guò)本課的學(xué)習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生講文明.懂禮貌的好習(xí)慣,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性及學(xué)習(xí)興趣。
五.教學(xué)過(guò)程
Step1:
1. Make one-minute dialogue. Get some pairs to act out their own dialogue.
2. Revise the new words and phrases by cards.
Step2:
Task 1. What do you think of these gifts?
Show the target languages, using the objects:
--What's this?/What are these?
--It's a… /They're…
--What do you think of it/them?
--That's… /They're…
Step 3. Presentation
1. Point to the picture and say:
Tomorrow is my mother's birthday.
What should I get my mother for her birthday?
How about a dictionary?
No, that's too boring.
How about tennis balls?
NO, they're too cheap.
Why don't I get her a camera?
I think she'll like it.
2. Lead the Ss to drill the conversation.
3. Practice the dialogue in the whole class.
Step 4 Survey
Ss make a survey and fill in the blanks.
According to Mother's Day. Father's Day. Women's Day. Children's Day and Teacher's Day.
Step 5 listening
1. Listen to the tape and number the comments in order you hear .
2. Check the answers.
Step6:1. Play a game.
2. Sum up the main knowledge.
3. Homework

(2) Make a survey. Exchange information and fill in the chart.(Page b2)
